Merit
M.Sc. Computer Science/ MCS/ MIT/MBA-IT with 05 years of relevant Post Qualification Experience.
OR
BCS (Hons)/ BIT (Hons)/ BBA-IT with 07 Years of relevant Post Qualification Experience.
At least one project with key role.
Preference will be given to Industry standard certifications in Project Management (PMP, Prince-2).
Skills Required
Proficient in project management tools (PM) and techniques and knowledge of PM software.
Well versed with software contract management tools and techniques.
Well versed about IT technology specifically telecom billing.
Should posses strong analytical and administrative skills.
Ability to manage own work load and meet aggressive deadlines and deliverables.
Excellent interpersonal and writing skills.
Experience of working in a complex business environment.
Decision making and management skills.
Strong reconciliation skills.
Strong communication skills.
Strong understanding of the fixed line and/or cellular industry.
Strong understanding of best practice for billing in telecommunications.
Strong understanding of the end-to-end life cycle of an event from generation to billing.
Strong understanding of Billing systems and quality assurance processes.
Knowledge of SQL an advantage.
Ability to work independently under pressure within given time-frames.
Reliable and confident.
Strong understanding of systems and business processes.
Roles & Responsibilities
Manage the project (BCCI) to the business and technical requirements within the required schedule, scope and budget. Assist the Project Director for BCCI project.
Co-ordinate with Project Director to create and maintain project plans to ensure project success. Moreover ensure the activities in each phase of project life are performed according to the timelines.
Maintain project budgets and report budget & project status to management.
Co-ordinate internal and external resources to ensure the success of the project.
Direct internal, external and project team members to ensure project tasks are completed satisfactorily. Ensure the project life-cycle and task tracking processes are followed by all team members.
Ensuring the application meets the required level of performance outlined in the SRS.
Perform/prepare pre-mature software demonstrations/reports for management, end users and other concerned departments for gathering of feedback & change requests upto implementation of new proposals.
Co-ordinate with S&P department to manage the contracts with the implementing IT firms. This will involve establishing commitments with the contractor, tracking and reviewing the contractors performance and results. This exercise will cover the management of software-related contracts, as well as the management of the total project that includes hardware, Networking, Licensed software and possibly other system components.
